By accessing and using InfraSketch (infrasketch.cloud), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the tool.
Description of service
InfraSketch is a free, open-source, browser-based tool that generates architecture diagrams from infrastructure-as-code files including Terraform HCL and Docker Compose YAML. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
Use of the tool
You may use InfraSketch for any lawful purpose, including personal, educational, and commercial use. You are responsible for ensuring that the code you input into the tool does not contain sensitive information such as passwords, API keys, or secret tokens. While InfraSketch does not transmit your code to any server, it is good practice to sanitize your code before pasting it into any web-based tool.
Intellectual property
Your code: You retain all rights to any code you paste into InfraSketch. We do not claim any ownership or rights over your input.
Generated diagrams: Diagrams generated by InfraSketch are yours to use freely. You may use them in documentation, presentations, reports, or any other purpose without attribution (though attribution is appreciated).
InfraSketch source code: The InfraSketch tool is open source and available on GitHub under the MIT License. You may fork, modify, and distribute the code in accordance with the license terms.
AWS Architecture Icons: The AWS service icons used in diagrams are the property of Amazon Web Services, Inc. and are used in accordance with the AWS Architecture Icons usage guidelines.
Disclaimer of warranties
InfraSketch is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the diagrams generated. The tool may not correctly parse all Terraform configurations, and generated diagrams should be reviewed for accuracy before use in production documentation or decision-making.
Limitation of liability
In no event shall InfraSketch, its creator, or contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the tool. This includes but is not limited to damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.
No advertising
InfraSketch does not currently display third-party advertisements or load advertising scripts.
Third-party links
InfraSketch may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. Visiting such links is at your own risk.
Modifications
We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of InfraSketch after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Termination
We reserve the right to discontinue the service at any time without notice. Since all processing is client-side, you can continue using any previously downloaded version of the tool independently.
Governing law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
